About Klarzi.

I am Jasper, the founder of Klarzi.

I have lived and worked in five countries. Over time, I became familiar with the experience of moving somewhere new and having to understand unfamiliar systems, rules and institutions.

Starting life in a new country is easier when you know people who can explain how local systems work, what you need to do and by when, and how to optimise your finances. Not everyone arrives with that kind of network.

Like many others, I also prefer to understand the relevant information before making important decisions — including when I can handle something myself, when professional advice makes sense, and how to prepare before speaking with an expert.

These experiences led me to build Klarzi: to give people some of that knowledge and confidence from the beginning.

I am a data scientist with experience across both the NGO and private sectors, and I enjoy making complex real-world problems easier to navigate.

Because the app deals with personal topics such as finances, work, family and administration, privacy and data protection are important parts of how Klarzi is built. It is designed to minimise the amount of personal information that needs to leave a user's device and to make the sources behind its information visible.

The beta version of Klarzi is currently being tested in Geneva.
